Who is eligible?

Child Trust Funds

All children born after 31 August 2002 and before 3 January 2011, who are resident in the UK and for whom Child Benefit is received, are eligible for a Child Trust Fund.

Junior ISAs

A Junior ISA is available to all UK resident children who do not have and are not entitled to a CTF. This includes children born before 31 August 2002 and aged under 18, children born after 3 January 2011, and children born between 31 August 2002 and 3 January 2011 for whom Child Benefit is not received.
